A notebook for nerds

Recently I have my head full of ideas for books that I deliberately want to work on. So I finally got back my crafting motivation 🙂

Here is the first book I finished lately:

It is 10 * 15 cm with coptic binding. The cover is made of pastepaper, an old book about electric machines had to shed feathers.

The book consists of 10 booklets à 5 pieces of caro paper and has a rubber band as a locking mechanism.

I was indecisive if I actually like coptic bindings because of its open spine, but this time I really like it. Guess I will make another one 😀
Maybe I also try to combine this binding with a concetina, as shown here. I really like that one. (and I can imagine that it is a tremendous fiddling getting it folded so evenly 😮 )

By the way, I had some fun doing a complete making of video. I don’t know how you think about it, but I really enjoy watching it, hope you like it, too 😀
